Synergy with the East Denpasar District, Social Cadis of Denpasar City, and PUSPADI Bali.
Home visit done to the Disabled, I Made Muliarta. He suffered a diabetic injury that led to an amputation on his left knee in October 2023.
We did our home visit with Mrs. Denpasar East District and Mrs. Head of Social Services of Denpasar City.
Following this visit, PUSPADI bali provides support for pre-wearing of prosthetic legs, so that it is expected that by March 2024 Pak Made can already come to PUSPadi Bali to have prosthetic legs made.

It all starts with a good intention.
A kind-hearted woman, since her student days, has dedicated her time to share with people with disabilities through her English classes at a social care institution.
Even after a successful career as an HRD in major hotels, she remains committed to volunteering for soft and hard skill training, guiding persons with disabilities toward the professional world.
For nearly three years, she has also been providing monthly financial support for PUSPADI Bali programs.
One of the beneficiaries is Ibu Korti.
That was the second prosthetic leg distributed through Ibu Ari Padma’s consistent monthly commitment. Last year, we distributed the first assistive device for another beneficiary.
Thank you, Ibu Ari Padma, for your monthly support. Little by little, it will get bigger. This is proof that we don’t have to be wealthy to share!
Let’s continue sharing, because sharing is caring!

The strategy for fulfilling assistive devices should be continually encouraged both at the local and national levels. One thing that can be done is to build a shared commitment by examining the achievements, challenges, and opportunities at hand. This needs to be done to ensure that the policies created truly favor the fulfillment of assistive devices. In addition, the fulfillment of assistive devices is a shared responsibility across sectors to maintain the suitability, affordability, and quality of assistive devices.
As part of the ongoing processes mentioned above, it certainly requires support in information and knowledge regarding technology and collective advocacy in the fulfillment of assistive devices for a broader range of people with disabilities. Furthermore, it is crucial to build networks with all parties so that the effort to fulfill assistive devices in Indonesia also becomes one of the priorities of the Indonesian government’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
Therefore, YAKKUM Rehabilitation Center which supported by Helpage International and UNOPS, together with UCP Roda Untuk Kemanusiaan Indonesia, and PUSPADI BALI which supported by Inspirasia Foundation, conducted the National Workshop for Accelerating the Fulfillment of Assistive Devices in Indonesia and Learning Services for the Fulfillment of Assistive Devices and Assistive Technology in Bali on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Hotel Harris Denpasar.

Hello! I am Ida Bagus Putu Indra Pratama, 21 years old, and I would like to share my story since the beginning of my encounter with PUSPADI Bali.
I am a person with a physical disability, using a prosthetic leg on my left leg. This condition resulted from an accident I had at the age of 8.
The first time I encountered PUSPADI Bali, formerly known as YAKKUM Bali, was in 2010 when I was still in the hospital due to the accident. At that time, PUSPADI Bali offered assistance with a prosthetic leg. The first time I tried walking again with the prosthetic leg, it felt very enjoyable. I had to stay at PUSPADI Bali for a month to maximize my walking exercises.
While at PUSPADI Bali, I got to know many physically disabled people who were incredibly inspiring and had become like a family to me. PUSPADI Bali taught me to keep striving for my dreams because being a person with a physical disability, whether lacking legs, arms, or other body parts, does not mean we cannot do something to change our future.
PUSPADI Bali always motivated me to become a strong, hardworking, and successful individual despite the limitations I have. This is what enables me to stand on my own feet now, become what I want to be, and make my parents proud. I have achieved all of this thanks to PUSPADI Bali, which has helped, encouraged, and provided prosthetic leg so that I can continue to step forward to reach my future goals.
I have experienced a lot of development over the years. Currently, I am able to pursue education by studying at one of the renowned universities in Bali, namely Ganesha Education University. I am very grateful because in the academic world, I have many friends who accept my shortcomings with kindness.

Arham Maulidan (17), the youngest of five siblings, is an energetic scout member at his school in East Lombok and has been selected as the platoon commander from a year ago until now. Previously, he was also selected as the Secretary of the Student Council, responsible for managing secretarial tasks for meetings or events.
Arham was born with a congenital condition of below-knee amputation. Before using a prosthetic leg, he struggled to walk barefoot and often felt numbness. Now, with the prosthetic leg provided by Puspadi Bali, he can overcome obstacles, wear sandals and shoes, and feel more confident.
In his daily life, Arham helps his father gather food for their livestock, inspiring him to aspire to become a modern farmer, utilizing the abundant resources available in his village. He has already begun to consider continuing his education at Mataram University, majoring in agricultural technology.
